Two men have been arrested in Kempton Park, north-east of Johannesburg, for allegedly being in possession of drugs with a street value of over R200 000. The suspects who are foreign nationals are expected to appear in a local magistrates court soon.
They are facing charges of dealing with illicit substances and contravening the Immigration Act.
Ekurhuleni Metro Police spokesperson Kelebogile Thepa says, "A body search on the first suspect led to the discovery of eighteen ziplock bags of CAT, six small ziplock bags of Crystal Meth with an estimated street value of R1 240 in cash.
