Tshwane Metro Police Department TMPD officers have impounded 17 minibuses and one e-hailing vehicle during operations targeting illegal public transport and by-law violations across parts of the city.
The operation conducted in Pretoria West, also included inspections at formal and informal businesses to ensure compliance with health, safety and municipal regulations.
Several notices were issued for contraventions relating to business operations, fire safety and food safety legislation.
