Cape Town has accelerated the long-awaited redevelopment of the Strandfontein Pavilion after allocating an additional R11.3 million in its latest Adjustment Budget, clearing the way for construction to move ahead sooner than initially planned.
Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis confirmed that the funding has been brought forward into the current financial year after the project progressed faster than anticipated during its planning phase, according to The South African .
