Music streaming platform Spotify has named South Africa's new-gen Amapiano star, Zandile Zee Nxumalo, as its EQUAL Africa ambassador for May 2026.
Spotify uses the EQUAL Africa programme highlight women creators across the continent.
Spotify spotlights Zee NxumaloIn 2025, Zee earned the title of the most-streamed South African woman artist on the platform, according to Wrapped 2025 data. Being named a Spotify Equal Africa ambassador is therefore fitting for the eSwatini-born artist.
