The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals SPCA says it will be on standby to help animals left in distress as a result of fireworks on New Year's Eve.
The SPCA held a joint safety operation with Johannesburg Emergency Management Services and Johannesburg Metro Police Department to enforce By-Laws as residents prepare to usher in the New Year.
