The Public Protector has found no evidence of improper conduct after anonymous allegations of nepotism and corruption were made against uMngeni Mayor in KwaZulu-Natal Chris Pappas.
The Public Protectors office says in a statement that it was alleged Pappas had failed to declare his relationship with his fiance Jean-Pierre Prinsloo who chairs uMngeni Tourism.
Its a Municipal Tourism entity that received R100 000 from the City Council.
