The bunny chow made history in Centurion on Friday as South Africa secured a Guinness World Record for the world's longest version of the dish at Bhai's Lounge Banqueting Hall, Cape town Etc reports.
According to the African News Agency , the final bunny chow measured 15.98 metres and was completed by Fire Water Earth Productions in partnership with Bhai's Lounge, with Guinness World Records representative Mbali Nkosi on site to verify the attempt.
The Witness reports a custom-built 17-metre oven baked a single continuous loaf that formed the base, before teams filled it with 40kg of lamb curry, 10kg of sugar bean curry and a carrot and onion salad.
