Seven girl learners have appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court charged with common assault.
This after being arrested for allegedly assaulting another learner over the weekend.
A video emerged showing the alleged assault incident.
The incident is said to have happened at a house in Yeoville, Johannesburg, on Saturday where the learners reside.
Gauteng Education spokesperson Steve Mabona says the implicated learners are from various Johannesburg schools.
