The South African National Taxi Council SANTACO has welcomed the immediate suspension of three members of the Civic Centre Taxi Association who were caught on cellphone assaulting a motorist in Vanderbijlpark.
The motorist was accused of transporting people with his private vehicle.
Following the incident, the victim opened a case with the police.
