Real Madrid have categorically decided not to hand Vinicius the same salary as team-mate Kylian Mbappe.
According to SER Deportivos, the Los Blancos will give the Brazilian international one year to improve his level on the field pitch of play and then come back to negotiate a new salary plane otherwise, the player will be sold.
This comes after the Spanish LaLiga giants and Vinicius failed to strike a contract renewal earlier this month.
Real Madrid and Vinicius were close to a new contract agreement, but the players salary demands are more than what the club was willing to pay.
Vinicius has been asking Madrid for a 30m package salary plus renewal bonus for months now.
