Justin Madugu 's side defeated Tunisia, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa en route to the final before a brilliant second-half comeback saw them dispatch the Moroccans on home soil.
The journey from the group stage saw two Nigerian players claim prizes at the end of the tournament. Chiamaka Nnadozie took home the Goalkeeper of the tournament award while Rasheedat Ajibade was the best player of the competition.
Nigeria's President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu , welcomed the Super Falcons players and staff to the ASO Rock to thank them for a job well done before giving them gifts and sending them off for their trophy parade in Abuja yesterday.
