A submission by the African National Congress ANC that Parliaments legal services should lead evidence in the ad hoc committee probing allegations of police corruption has not been supported by some parties in the committee.
The matter was discussed as part of the committees terms of reference.
Its establishment flows from allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of corruption that includes top South African Police Service SAPS management and Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has since been placed on special leave.
