Law enforcement officers are out in full force on KwaZulu-Natals roads as travellers have started making their way to their holiday destinations in the province.
On Friday, a peak of 850 vehicles per hour was recorded at tollgates on the N3 from Gauteng towards Durban.
KZN Transport Department spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibiya says six unroadworthy vehicles were suspended at a roadblock at the Mariannhill Toll Plaza in Durban on Friday.
