Patients who suffer from chronic diseases have welcomed the launch of the Six Multi-Month Dispensation 6 MMD health strategy by the Department of Health in Bloemfontein, in the Free State.
They say the new programme saves them time and money as they only have to collect their medication twice a year.
This programme will allow stable patients suffering from chronic illnesses to receive several months supply of medication in a single visit instead of monthly refills.
