Parliament has expressed serious concern over threats and intimidation against Members of Parliament . These include recent incidents in the Ad Hoc Committee looking into concerns around national security and oversight activities by SCOPA members.
This follows a letter written to National Assembly Speaker by the MK Party reporting the kidnapping of its member, Vusi Shongwe, last week.
He is an alternative member of the Ad Hoc Committee. The party says his three cellphones were taken and he paid a substantial amount of money.
