Members of Operation Dudula are protesting outside the Diepkloof Police Station, in Soweto , demanding answers on the arrest of their three members.

Police say the three women were arrested at the Lillian Ngoyi clinic in Diepkloof yesterday.

They allegedly went into a ward and started questioning each patient about their nationality and demanding their identity documents. Police say they will face charges of Contravention of the National Health Act and Public Violence.

Operation Dudula President, Zandile Dabula says they have not received any update on the charges.

"The charges kept changing from being impersonation of immigration officers, South African Police Service SABC members, it was intimidation and then charges were then trespassing and public violence.
