Cape Town's ongoing law enforcement efforts are being increasingly shaped by the growing success of its Neighbourhood Safety Officer NSO initiative.
In the past week alone, law enforcement agencies made 150 arrests and issued 8 448 fines across the city, with NSO teams playing a pivotal role in several key operations.
In Bellville, Metro Police Neighbourhood Safety Officers arrested a suspect and recovered 130 sachets of tik valued at around R15 000, along with over R1 000 in cash.
