Controversial businessman Vusimuzi Cat Matlalas bail appeal application has been denied by the High Court in Johannesburg.
In September, Matlala unsuccessfully applied for bail , with the lower court ruling that he is a flight risk and a danger to society.
He is facing charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering.
