The N5 road, 10 kilometres outside Kestell towards Bethlehem in the Free State, has been closed following an accident involving two trucks.
Police have urged motorists to use caution when approaching the scene.
Spokesperson Mako Mophiring has advised motorists from Harrismith, Qwaqwa, to use the R57 to Bethlehem and from Bethlehem to use the R57 to Qwaqwa or join the N5 to Kestell.
