The N1 between Mookgophong and Mokopane, in Limpopo, has been cleared following a crash involving a tanker.

" The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety confirms that a fatal road accident occurred on the N1-25 near Tobias, Waterberg District, on 19 December 2025 at approximately 12:15 pm. A Volkswagen sedan collided head-on with a Mercedes Benz sedan, which then side-swiped a Toyota heavy motor vehicle. The collision resulted in the tragic death of a 2-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Mercedes Benz."
