As heavy rains and flooding continue to batter parts of the Western Cape, communities across the province are rallying together to help families left without homes, food and basic essentials.
Retail giant Pick n Pay has now stepped in by transforming all of its Western Cape stores into public donation drop-off points for flood victims.
The initiative comes after days of severe weather disrupted several areas across Cape Town, the Overberg and surrounding regions, forcing many residents into temporary shelters and community halls.
