Lawyers representing North West-based businessman and alleged political fixer, Brown Mogotsi, have confirmed his arrest on Friday.
Mogotsis legal representative, Radasi Sekgatja, tells SABC News that the arrest happened shortly after Mogotsi finished testifying at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria.
Police earlier said a suspect had been arrested for defeating the ends of justice after allegedly staging an attempted assassination.
