Seven people have been killed in several separate shooting incidents in the Kayamandi informal settlement in Stellenbosch.
Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa says detectives are investigating whether the killings are linked.
Western Cape serious violent crime detectives are investigating five shooting incidents that left six men and a woman dead in Kayamandi in Stellenbosch. Four of the shooting incidents occurred on Friday evening and one on Saturday morning.
