The ministers endorsement highlights governments commitment to fostering partnerships that promote energy security, economic growth and sustainable development. In his address at the 17th Africa Energy Indaba this year, Ramokgopa emphasised the need for Africa to chart its own energy future one that prioritises security of supply, industrialisation and a just, equitable transition. He highlighted the value of forums such as the Indaba in facilitating discussions and collaborations that translate into actionable solutions for the continents energy challenges.
The Africa Energy Indaba 2026 will convene ministers, policymakers, investors and industry leaders to explore innovative solutions, share insights and build partnerships aimed at accelerating Africas energy transition.
