Laju Iren Films has released the official teaser for Onobiren, its debut feature film set for nationwide cinema release on March 6, 2026. The production company also announced that tickets for the film will be available for preorder from January 30, signalling the start of its rollout to cinemas.
Onobiren, which translates to "woman" in the Itsekiri language, centres on themes of womanhood, faith and African identity. The film was written and executive produced by Laju Iren and directed by Famous Iraoya, known for Finding Nina. Principal photography was completed in Warri and Lagos, marking the companys largest production to date.
