kzn education says 40 of schools likely to reopen without stationery

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education says it is working around the clock to ensure that all schools receive their stationery and textbooks before the start of the new school year.

The Department says at least 40 percent of the schools are likely to reopen on Wednesday without stationery.

This comes as teacher unions are preparing to take the department to court, over failure to deliver learner and teacher support materials before schools reopen on Wednesday.
