Farmers in the Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape says they have lost hectares of grazing land due to the veld fires that ravaged the area over the past week.
The Kabeljous area near Jeffreys Bay was the hardest hit, where some farmers and residents had to be evacuated as the fires threatened their homes.
The residents have since been brought back home as the fires are now under control.
