Gauteng High Court Judge President Dustan Mlambo says his age could be used as an advantage to being a deputy to Chief Justice Mandisa Maya.
This comes as interviews for the role are under way in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Judge President Mlambo is one of three candidates being interviewed by the Judicial Service Commission JSC.

He is currently 65 years-old, meaning that if appointed, he would have to retire mid-way through the Chief Justices term.
