Cape Town International Airport says several flight operations from the Mother City have been impacted by the inclement weather . Spokesperson Debi Shepherd says many of the flights from the airports have been diverted to OR Tambo in Johannesburg.
Shepherd says Cape Town Airport remains open and operational despite the adverse conditions.
In a statement, Airports Company South Africa ACSA has also confirmed that flights in George have been affected although it remains operational.
