Strained relations between the African National Congress ANC and the South African Communist Party SACP played themselves out at the grave of former SACP leader, Chris Hani.
ANC Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula, and SACP Secretary General, Solly Mapaila, were expected to speak at the Hani wreath laying ceremony at the Thomas Nkobi memorial in Boksburg earlier today.
The event was called off after the family left, citing its displeasure at the presence of the City of Ekurhuleni officials.
