The South African Human Rights Commission SAHRC says offensive social media posts and alleged xenophobic utterances by Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie are prima facie violations of the Equality Act .
McKenzie used the K-word in several posts on his X account between 2011 and 2017. They resurfaced last week, sparking outrage from some political parties and the general public.
