The Gauteng Tourism Authority GTA says the province has recorded 3.8 million international visitors in 2024/25 which is up from 2.6 million from the previous financial year.
This came out during the launch of World Tourism month.
Tourism Minister of Patricia De Lille is launching the campaign at the Zoo Lake in Johannesburg under the theme Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.
