A family in Goodwood is mourning the devastating loss of 22-month-old Amandla Ziqubu, who died while in the care of the Little Innocence Day Care Centre.
The child's father, Njabulo Ziqubu, says the tragedy struck shortly after nap time, when his daughter was discovered unresponsive. It is believed that she had eaten noodles before falling asleep, as reported by News24 .
'I wouldn't wish this type of pain on my worst enemy,' he said, describing the anguish that has consumed his family. 'It's a pain you cannot explain. Right now, all I want is justice for Amandla.'
