Four people have been injured when a transformer exploded in New Doornfontein in the Johannesburg CBD this morning.
The explosion resulted in the collapse of the room that the transformer was housed in and an adjoining boundary wall.
Johannesburg Emergency Management Services EMS, says all residents in the area of the explosion have been accounted for and the injured have been taken to the hospital.
