Former Presidents Jacob Zuma and Thabo Mbeki are both seeking the recusal of retired Justice Sisi Khampepe as chairperson of the commission of inquiry into allegations regarding efforts or attempts to stop the investigation or prosecution of Truth and Reconciliation Commission TRC cases.
The ex-political rivals have filed separate but mutually reinforcing applications, the Jacob G Zuma Foundation said on Tuesday 6 January.
