Ekurhuleni Metro Police Chief Jabulani Mapiyeye has accused his deputy in the metro, Brigadier Julius Mkhwanazi of trying to run a parallel security process at the State of the City Address SOCA in March 2022.
Mkhwanazi has been at the center of Mapiyeyes testimony at the Madlanga Commission on Thursday.
This is for his alleged close link with attempted murder accused Vusimuzi Cat Matlala.
