President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday swore in Bernard Doro and Kingsley Udeh as new ministers during a brief ceremony held at the State House, shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council FEC meeting.

Doro, from Plateau State, replaces Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. Yilwatda resigned recently following his emergence as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC. Doro's nomination had been confirmed by the Senate in late October.

Udeh takes over as Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, succeeding Uche Nnaji, who resigned from the cabinet. The Senate confirmed Udeh earlier on Thursday after a short screening session. Before his appointment to the federal cabinet, Udeh served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State.
