The Eldorado Park parents accused of the murder and sexual assault of their four-year-old daughter have abandoned their bail application in the Protea Magistrates Court in Soweto.
The little girls father is accused of physically and sexually assaulting his daughter. He faces charges of murder, rape, compelled rape, assault and child abuse .
The mother is charged with failing to report the alleged sexual offences against her child. She will now face a murder charge.
