Eight learners from Milnerton High School are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday on charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm .
A video went viral on social media last year in which a grade ten learner was beaten with objects, including a hockey stick.
The court ordered that the accused not be identified. Six of the learners were in Grade 12 last year, while two were juveniles at the time of the incident.
