The case of eight Milnerton High School learners charged with assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm has been postponed until the 11 th of March in the Cape Town Magistrates Court.
This case follows a video which went viral in October last year, showing learners allegedly assaulting a Grade 10 pupil with objects such as hockey sticks.
The learners were suspended, and the Western Cape Education Department states that the school disciplinary committee has recommended expelling six of the eight.
