Dubai International Airport is expected to finish installing advanced 3D baggage scanners across all terminals by May next year.
The scanners are currently being installed at Terminal 3 and will allow passengers to keep laptops and liquids inside their bags while passing through security, according to Gulf News .
The technology will generate detailed 3D images, which is expected to speed up screening, reduce wait times and enhance security at the airport.
