Gauteng police have arrested the 22-year-old scholar transport driver who was involved in the crash that claimed the lives of 12 learners in Vanderbijlpark on Monday.
He was arrested after he was discharged from hospital on Monday night.
Gauteng Police Spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the driver is expected to appear before the local magistrates court within 48 hours, facing charges of 12 counts of culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving.
