Four people have drowned when their vehicle was swept away by an overflowing stream at Mokotopong outside Polokwane in Limpopo.
The bodies of two men and two women were retrieved by police divers and Polokwane Municipalitys fire and rescue department.
According to information, the deceased were crossing an overflowing low-lying bridge when their vehicle was swept away.
