Disgruntled African National Congress ANC staff members and members of Nehawu have taken their grievances over what they term recurring late salary payments to the entrance of the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg, where the party is set to hold its National General Council NGC meeting over the next four days.

Holding placards with some reading: We need to school fees, Pay our medical staff, No intimidation to staff, among others, the protesters say they hope the move will put pressure on the powers that be within the party to do right by them.

ANC NGC delegate and Nehawu branch Deputy Secretary, Dan Semenya says, Today, we are picketing outside, here at the NGC based on three issues that affect staff - mainly the recurring late payments, secondly the issue revolves the provident fund contribution which have not been pai for quite some time now its almost six months now that has not paid and our medical aids contribution.
