Deputy Chief Justice, Dunstan Mlambo, has ruled that Moroadi Cholotas case be remitted to the High Court in the Free State.
Justice Mlambo says while Cholotas extradition was unlawful, it does not deprive the high court of criminal jurisdiction to prosecute.
Cholota, the former PA of Ace Magashule, was extradited from US in 2024 to face corruption and money laundering charges linked to the Free State asbestos case.
