The Madlanga Commission has heard that Colonel Francois Steyn allegedly took a loan of more than R400 000 from Radovan Krejcir, a convicted criminal who was believed to be an organised crime boss.
This was confirmed by forensic investigator Paul OSullivan during his testimony before the Commission.
Steyn, the Hawks Gauteng provincial coordinator for narcotics investigations, previously testified before the Commission about the Aeroton drug case .
