ABUJA - The African Democratic Congress ADC has pushed back strongly against the controversy over former Vice President Atiku Abubakars reported registration with the party, saying the entire episode is being driven by people who have no connection to the ADC.
According to the party, the individual quoted in a recent report is completely unknown within its ranks and may be part of a broader move to weaken opposition voices in the country.
