To mark World Nature Conservation Day earlier this week, Asilia released a short video spotlighting its Twende Porini Swahili for Lets go to the bush initiative a conservation education programme that brings local school children into protected wilderness areas across East Africa.
For many of the participants, it was the first time experiencing wildlife up close. The multi-day programme offers environmental learning outside the classroom with focus on conservation awareness and the importance of safeguarding biodiversity.
