Seabourn has unveiled its first expedition grand voyage from the Arctic to Antarctica, the Pole to Pole: Grand Expedition, departing in 2027.
The 94-day voyage on Seabourn Venture will depart on August 17 and finish on November 19, 2027, covering more than 20 500 nautical miles on a course from the High Arctic to Antarctica.
The expedition will start with an overnight stay in Reykjavik, Iceland, followed by a charter flight to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, where passengers will board the ship.
There will be 60 days of expedition experiences and visits to 14 countries and territories, including five days in Antarctica, three in South Georgia, three in the Falkland Islands, six days in the Northwest Passage and a new three-day experience to Ellesmere Island in the Arctic Archipelago.
There will be 33 sea days throughout the sailing, and passengers will also visit the Caribbean and South America, before concluding the expedition in Ushuaia, Argentina, with a post-cruise charter flight to Buenos Aires.
