At least 162 people were killed on Tuesday in attacks on the villages of Woro and Nuku in Kwara state, Nigeria, a lawmaker said. The assaults, carried out by IS-linked Lakurawa militants, come amid a worsening security crisis across the country, including Boko Haram violence in the northeast and kidnappings in the northwest.
